Home Education Assistance

Training that leads directly to employment

The Indigenous Skills & Employment Training (ISETP) program partners with clients, employers, and training institutions so that every learning experience aligns with labour market demand. We encourage layered funding approaches that include EI, TSD, Social Assistance, First Nation supports, Student Aid, school grants, and employer contributions alongside NBAPC resources.

Who can apply

ISETP funding eligibility

  • Off-reserve Indigenous Peoples who are permanent residents of New Brunswick.
  • Students in post-secondary training programs two years or less, or those entering the final year of university.
  • Participants enrolled in full-time studies delivered at an approved school or training site.
  • Clients whose training plans match current and future labour market opportunities within their preferred region.
  • Individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking employable skills.

Respecting privacy and confidentiality
